Cyclohexyl Chloride, also known as Monochlorocyclohexane, Chlorohexahydrobenzene, and Chlorocyclohexane, is a chemical compound with the formula C6H11Cl. It is a colorless, volatile, flammable liquid, with a boiling point of 118.4 °C and a vapor pressure of 0.0017 MmHg At 25°C. It is practically insoluble in water and is mainly used in the production of herbicides and in the manufacture of rubber and plasticizers. It is a hazardous compound, classified as F+, Xn and N according to the GHS system.
Cyclohexyl Chloride is a useful intermediate in organic chemistry and has extensive uses in pharmaceuticals, pesticides, dyestuffs, and perfumes.
